Welcome to Myers Park Traditional School! Since 1928, MPTS has built a strong tradition of excellence, leadership, and academic achievement. As a Leadership/Traditional magnet school, all students participate in the Leader in Me program, where they develop leadership skills through Stephen Covey’s 8 Habits of Highly Effective People and learn that every child can be a leader.
I am honored to serve as Principal of MPTS. I began my career with CMS in 2005 as a teacher and instructional leader at Windsor Park Elementary before serving as an assistant principal at Eastway Middle School and Selwyn Elementary. After serving as Interim Principal at Montclaire Elementary, I joined MPTS and have proudly served as Principal since 2021. As both a principal and a parent of two young boys, I am passionate about ensuring every child receives an outstanding educational experience.
